I miss you. You would have turned 103 on february the 20. You used to sew, you didn't learn it to me, but I'm sure you gave me the sewing passion. It is in my DNA. I wish you knew my kids, I hope you'd be proud of them, of us. I remember laughing, cooking, listening to music with you and speaking in the darkness of the night before falling asleep just like teenagers. I'll never forget your blue eyes, your tenderness for my brother and I. My lovely grand-mother. I wish you were here...

Je n'ai jamais vu ma grand mère enfant.
Et elle n'a pas connu mon fils non plus; mais elle a eu le temps de savoir qu'il était né.

Je crois que je parle comme toi à ma grand-mère... même s'il y a longtemps qu'elle n'est plus "là". Quelle émotion. Je suis certain que la tienne serait fière de toi et de tes enfants, vraiment !!! En regardant sa photo, je me dis que, quelque part, elle est restée à jamais cette petite fille que tu retrouves peut-être en toi aussi...
